It was awesome having one of my peers and former partners in the industry, as well as friend, as my client. It was such a joy to help her execute and create her dream vintage wedding.
A lot of creative and amazing ideas came into play, we were able to deliver some new and creative options. The bride, having the creative background as her very own strong suit herself, created her own broach wedding bouquet! This bouquet was gorgeous! She used broaches donated to her by her bridal party and those closest to her to put this piece together. This of course made this piece extra sentimental.
One of the most entertaining parts of the wedding was a routine choreographed by the bride that also included her bridesmaids. This was performed during the wedding reception. Her hubby was in for a pleasant surprise! This performance was not just a surprise for him, but the wedding guests as well. I remember the enthuisiasm and excitement that this created for the guests. The "Paparazzi" wa everywhere, lol...
One of the unique elements I was able to create for this wedding was a digital seating chart. We had access to a mega flat screen displayed on the wall of the lobby where the coktail hour was held. I incorporated this electronic piece to showcase a few of the couple's engagement shots, in the background of the seating assignments.
This was a great hit as it left my couple extremely pleased and had guests chatting about the creativety and uniqueness used... Having a vision is one thing, but when you're able to deliver that vision and it's received well, then youu've succeeded.
